東京都立藝術高等学校卒業。東京音楽大学卒業。大学在学中、給費奨学金を得てインディアナ大学へ短期留学。ハンガリー国立リスト音楽院へ留学。
国際芸術連盟新人オーディションにて奨励賞並びに審査員特別賞受賞。第４回、かやぶき音楽堂デュオコンクールにて第3位。
2006年より三年間メキシコのアカデミア・ユリコ・クロヌマにてヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ講師を勤める。メキシコ各地で演奏活動を行う。
帰国後は、ソロ、室内楽奏者として国内外で演奏活動をする他、後進の指導にあたっている。自由学園非常勤講師。昭和音楽大学付属音楽教室講師。

Profile of Yoko Suzuki

She graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Senior High School of the Arts and graduated from Tokyo College of Music. While in college, she received a scholarship to study at Indiana University. Studied at the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary. She won the Encouragement Prize and the Jury's Special Prize at Competition of Japan International League of Artists. She won the third prize at the 4th Kayabuki Ongakudo Duo Competition. She has been teaching violin and viola at Academia Yuriko Kuronuma in Mexico City for three years since 2006 and also performed throughout Mexico. After returning to Japan, she has been performing as a soloist and chamber music player in Japan and abroad, and also teaching younger students. She is a part-time instructor at The International Centre of Jiyu Gakuen and teaching at the Music School in Showa University of Music.
